I don’t know if any of you are like me, but I tend to get incredibly motivated on something, then I expend so much time and energy on something, and come away only partially satisfied. I’m part of that generation that wants instant gratification (I alluded to that in my last post). Which is why Two Little Birds Design is so much fun. But what can happen is that I don’t take the time to slow down and think about what I really want.
Luckily, I have this ability with my clients. I get some basic information and work with them to get what they’re looking for quickly. But with my branding, I’ve been so hurried that I haven’t taken the time to really think about the image I want to put forward.
I did spend some time hand-drawing my current blog banner, but I still feel like the personality I’m trying to convey isn’t coming through.
So I’m beginning the process of defining Two Little Birds Design: The blog. This, of course, will spill over to my Etsy shop. I’ve been starting the process with some printables I found on The Flourishing Abode, but will be creating my own because I’ve found the prompts to be a bit different than the way I think. So I started writing them out, but will convert them to a pdf for anyone else wanting to do this yourself. And I’m going to work through it slowly – giving me the time to really think about and execute what I really want.
