Yesterday, I found a link-up to a party called: Project:Simplify.
It’s all about simplifcation, and thus, organization. One task a week, for the next five weeks, focused on one “hot spot” to declutter. Not only will it satisfy a goal for the year, but it will also help with my photography skills, since one of the “requirements” is a before and after photoshoot.
This week’s hot spot is my closet. This is a great one for this week, especially with my limited time. It requires going through every piece of clothing and deciding whether to keep it or get rid of it. And what’s even better is our new master bedroom furniture will be delivered on Saturday, so I’ll be ready to move everything over, instead of going through it then.
I’ll be taking everything out, trying everything on, and wiping out drawers and shelves. I wish I could move some winter clothes into one of the other closets, but the weather is not cooperating.
Why don’t you join me in this new project?
