When H was in town last week, I took her to downtown Denver to get some nighttime shots. I was pretty unhappy with how most of them turned out (due to the construction and HUGE dirt pile between our location and Union Station… grrr!), but we went on the city side to see if we could get anything.
Right before we were about to leave, I was sitting on one of the benches in the pedestrian tunnel (which, I’m now sad to say is closed permanently) and saw this little heart:
I thought it needed just a little something else. So, with my recently knowledge of adding texture overlays (like I did in a picture for my sister), I decided to try it again with the heart.
I love it. I found the texture here and I’m pretty excited about using some more of those textures in the future. There’s one of this ridiculously large Robin I captured yesterday during the snow that I think I’ll mess around with, so stay tuned!
Oh – and Happy Groundhog Day everyone!
