Another holiday tradition

Ever since I was in grade school, I’ve been the one to send out Christmas cards to friends and family all over the country.  I didn’t do the photocards until two years ago, when S and I announced our engagement (I should’ve known something was up when he suggested taking pictures for picture Christmas cards).

Last year, we did a goofy shot, where we bundled up from head to toe and stood by our Christmas tree.  I’m not quite sure what picture will be on it this year, but I do know that we’ll be sending cards out again, using Shutterfly.

To sweeten that deal, Shutterfly is doing a promotion with bloggers by giving away 50 free cards!!  Since S and I have a goal of having a certain amount of money in the bank, I’ve been coupon crazy.  I knew I’d be looking out for the best deal – and who can beat free!  Plus, I’ve used Shutterfly for a variety of things – the guestbook for our wedding and our Christmas cards for the past two years, not to mention just ordering some prints.

Here are just a few I’ve got my eye on:

I’d love to do something that showcases our first Christmas in our new house… so maybe taking a shot after we get it decorated, with the tree twinkling in the window and garland wrapped around the columns… I’m getting so excited!

There are so many other adorable options for whatever your taste is: traditional, whimsical, cute, vintage.  And, they have cards for other holiday occasions too, like Hanukkah, or gift ideas, such as photobooks and calendars!

So head on over to Shutterfly and check out their selection!
