Humbled

There are times in life when you get so caught up in your every day activities (work, house work, school work, even relationship work) that you forget there are other people out there dealing with their own struggles.  This morning, I was brought back down to earth after reading a blog post about a girl who is a young wife and mother, recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

I don’t know her.  I don’t know the girl who wrote the post I read.  But I was inspired by her strength, and her desire to beat it for her family.  She isn’t giving up, and her faith is stronger than ever.  To read her entire journey, head to don’t waste your cancer

It’s interesting that this comes this week.  Tuesday was a rough day work and otherwise, and my mom mentioned the fact that I seemed so stressed out lately.  I have been.  But reading Libby’s story is helping me see past my own struggles, which mean nothing.  It makes me want to hug my husband, tell my friends and family how much they mean to me, and weed out the things that are causing me too much stress.  And pray more.
