Wow.  Where has the last week gone?  Seriously, I’m wiped out!

Sorry I’ve been slacking on my blogging duties, but things have been so incredibly crazy I have no time to think.

What have I been up to?

Well, you read about the incredible weekend I had at home over Labor Day, which lent me barely any time to get my school work done.  We had a discussion assignment that was to cover the two weeks worth of readings and was worth 60 points.  I tried to read a little bit each day, and didn’t want to get into my assignment without having completed the readings.  My professor wasn’t too happy, because apparently I wasn’t involved in the conversation soon enough (but everyone else only wrote about one week’s worth of material, I did both!).  If she only knew my life right now!  But, I tried to be as engaged as I could, but I think I’m going to have to just read the chapters and catch up on my note-taking later.  I also had my first case study due yesterday, and I’m too much of a perfectionist for my own good.  I pulled the grading criteria out and made sure I had all of those things checked off.  We’ll see how those grades turn out.  And it’s time for another two week discussion period and another case study due Sunday.  Hopefully I can find a few nights this week to get a good jump.

Work has been super busy, since we’re working on a paper to publish and I’m the one who’s responsible for the images.  It’s pretty exciting, but I’m on brain overload.

This past weekend was recruitment for the sorority.  Last year I wasn’t able to be there because I was in a wedding, but this year I was able to make it all nights.  I think that’s why I’m physically exhausted.  4 nights of nonstop meeting potential members and spending time with the actives.  We had a blast, and did an AMAZING job.  I am so so so proud of the hard work and dedication these ladies put in – and it really shows!

Some of the ladies. Don’t they look fantastic!

I can’t wait for them to meet their new members, and so I can finally celebrate with them on their recruitment number!  I think they’re going to be shocked!!!

S and I cannot seem to shake this cold or whatever it is we have going on.  I have felt like I’ve had a constant hangover since Thursday morning… headache and feeling all weird – sort of stuffy but not quite.  S is super stuffy and coughy.  We have to get better soon because our housewarming party is this weekend!!  That means I need to get on the ball with our fall decorations and hanging up a few more things.  ::goes to work on my to-do list::

And I’m sure this post sounds whiny.  But really, I LOVE this stress.  I love not knowing how I’m going to get it all done, and then it does.

I also hope to make some more progress on my 101/1001.  I’ve been sort of slacking, but not on purpose.  I’m planning on starting to go to the gym two nights a week after work starting as soon as I feel better.
