RAW(e): Flowers

Last week during my trip to Breckenridge, I spent some time one afternoon walking around messing with my camera to continue to learn how to change the aperture and shutter speed to really get what I’m trying to capture – not to mention focusing with the Macro function to blur out the background.  I’m not really sure what capabilities this camera has, but I’m slowly learning.

So this week’s RAW(e) theme is flowers.  All over Breck, there were gorgeous poppies with their faces turned up toward the sun.  I’m sure this is a tad over-exposed, but it was my shot, and I’m pretty happy with it.

  1. Great shot! I love how the flower pops among the other rough and tumble background. Isn’t Colorado beautiful?
